A Computer Software is set of programs which directs the operations like input, process and output. Software are categories as following. 1- System Software - This the master program of computer which controls all the operation. A System Software or Operating System has following tasks It Control input and output. It Installs and Runs other softwares. It Controls and Mange Memory. It communicates with peripheral devices like printer scanner etc. It connect the system with network or internet. It provides control panel for maintenance. It perform file Management. 2- Application Software - This are journal purpose programs to perform specific task application software works under operating system for examples - Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point, Tally, Photoshop, Media Player, Web Browser etc. 3- Utilities Software - This are small programs and used for computer maintenance for examples- Antivirus, Disk Cleanup, Disk Manager, Scan Disk etc.
