1- Primary Memory (Temporary Or Internal Memory)
It is made up of electronic circuit and keeps data as long as voltage supply is on. When power supply switched off the data is lost. Primary Memory by Two Types.
A - RAM (Random Access Memory) (Main Memory)
It is read or write memory. Information can be return into RAM and read for RAM. It is a volatile memory and also none as computers main memory.
B - ROM (Read Only Memory)
It is permanent type memory. It's contains (program) are return at the time of ma nu. It's contains are not lose when power supply switched off.
2 - Secondary Memory (Permanent Or Storage Memory)
Secondary memory is used for bulk storage of programs, data and other information. It is none volatile in nature and has much longer capacity than main memory.
